Franschhoek Gardens & Wine Private Tour
Full day · ±9–10 hrsPrivate — just your group
A slower kind of Winelands day, built around the valley's gardens. First Babylonstoren, where the famous working farm garden is explored on a walk through the clipped vegetable rows and fruit tunnels — one of the great gardens of the Cape — followed by a tasting of the estate's wines. Lunch is under the trees at La Cotte in Franschhoek, on your own account. The afternoon finishes with a final tasting at Klein Goederust, a restored Victorian farmstead on the Franschhoek River — with Grande Provence as the alternative when Klein Goederust isn't pouring. The garden entry and the two tastings are compulsory parts of the day and are priced in your written quote once the estates confirm their rates for your date — this page takes a request, not payment.
