Tour Highlights & What We Cover
Explore Cape Town's most creative neighborhood on our Woodstock Cape Town street art tour. We guide you through an open-air public gallery showcasing massive murals, hidden graffiti gems, and works by local and international artists. Learn the deep socioeconomic stories behind the artwork and how street culture blends with urban development.
Our Local Heritage Perspective
Our guides know the resident artists and community of Woodstock, and share the stories, meaning and techniques behind the murals. This tour helps keep local storytelling alive by bringing visitors into one of Cape Town's most creative neighbourhoods.
Meeting Point & Safety Details
We meet our guests at the Old Biscuit Mill in Woodstock — just by the entrance, where a local guide in a branded One Day Africa t-shirt will be waiting for you. It's a prominent, secure, and easy-to-find spot right in the heart of the neighbourhood, reachable by car, ride-hail, or a short trip from the city centre. The two-hour walking route covers flat, easy terrain suitable for all fitness levels, and is fully guided by a local resident who knows every mural, alley, and artist by name. Small groups of no more than fifteen keep the experience personal and safe, and your guide will always keep the group together through the busier working streets. Bring a camera — the vibrant, ever-changing walls of Woodstock and Salt River offer some of the best photography opportunities in Cape Town.
