Why this Winelands day works
A private day, your group only: your own vehicle, a local registered driver-guide and room to linger — cellar learning at a historic estate, valley scenery between the stops and an unhurried lunch. Stellenbosch includes the Lanzerac five-wine Jonkershoek tasting and the scheduled cellar tour. Paarl & Franschhoek includes the Grande Provence three-wine flight; the Babylonstoren garden admission and its optional tasting are paid separately. The custom day books your private vehicle and driver-guide only — tastings, cellar tours, entrance tickets and lunch are on your own account.
How the day is priced
One whole-group fare covers the whole vehicle — R6 250 for 1–3 guests, R7 500 for 4–8, R9 950 for 9–13 (incl. VAT) — so everyone counts, including babies, and each standard route's stated tasting for the adults is included. A 1.5% booking fee is added at checkout. Prefer to plan estate by estate? The custom day is your own full-day Private Driver & Guide hire — priced by vehicle and day length and booked on the charter page; tastings, cellar tours, entrance tickets and lunch are your own.
Stellenbosch route
Lanzerac · Stark-Condé · Glenelly
Begin at historic Lanzerac with the scheduled 11:00 cellar tour and five wines from its Jonkershoek range — both included in your group fare, for each adult. Continue to Postcard Café at Stark-Condé for lunch and an optional tasting, both on your own account. Finish at Glenelly, with the tasting on your own account, or request Oldenburg as an alternative. Your final estate preference is recorded at booking and arranged after booking — if it is unavailable, we contact you to agree a suitable alternative.
Hotel pickup — 09:00 default; 09:30 / 10:00 by request (the Stellenbosch route books 09:00 to fit the 11:00 Lanzerac cellar tour)

Estate hours & coordination
Glenelly pours Tuesday to Saturday, closes at 15:00 on Sundays and is closed on Mondays; Oldenburg is closed on Sundays, 25 December and 1 January and pours only by request. Estate reservations are arranged after booking, subject to availability — if a venue is unavailable, we contact you to agree a suitable alternative. On Sundays we plan the day around Glenelly's 15:00 close: an earlier lunch and final tasting, or an alternative agreed with you. Venue availability is independent of vehicle availability.
Pickup
Hotel pickup & drop-off
We collect your group at your Cape Town hotel or address across the City Bowl (including Bo-Kaap), Woodstock, Newlands and the Atlantic Seaboard through Hout Bay. Pickup is 09:00 by default; on Paarl & Franschhoek you may request 09:30 or 10:00 (subject to your address and traffic), while the Stellenbosch route books 09:00 so the day fits the scheduled 11:00 Lanzerac cellar tour. Staying outside these areas? Contact us before booking for a transfer quote or an agreed meeting point. Your drop-off at the end of the day is included, and the vehicle is yours for the whole day.
