Private Cape Town Day for Couples & Honeymooners

The Fortuner to yourselves, your own driver-guide, and nobody else's timetable — a private day in Cape Town built for two.

Ask us to plan the day

Two guests, one Fortuner: book for two and the seven-seater is what turns up.

Just you two, your driver-guide, and the road

Most Cape Town day tours put you on a coach with thirty strangers and a microphone. This is the opposite: a seven-seater Toyota Fortuner with two seats filled, your own registered guide-driver in front, and a day that moves when you move.

It is the same Private Driver for the Day that couples book for honeymoons, anniversaries and the one clear day at the end of a Garden Route trip. Your driver is a local guide — he drives and guides, so there is no separate guide to tip and no separate car to follow.

  • One vehicle for the two of you — no shared seats, no group timetable
  • A registered guide-driver who drives and guides, all day
  • Stop when you want, stay as long as you want, change the order
  • Collected from your hotel or guesthouse, back when you choose

Three days couples ask us for

Chapman's Peak and Cape Point is the classic: the Atlantic Seaboard, Hout Bay, the cliff road, the Cape of Good Hope and the penguins at Boulders Beach, at a pace that leaves room for photographs rather than a headcount.

The Winelands is the long-lunch day — Stellenbosch or Franschhoek, two or three estates and a table you can sit at for two hours, with nobody in your party driving home. And on a half day, the sunset version ends at Signal Hill or Camps Bay with the sun going down over the Atlantic.

Your pace, your lunch, your photographs

The price is for the vehicle, not per person, and it includes the driver-guide, fuel, tolls and parking with VAT in the price. Tastings, cableway tickets and entrance fees are paid directly on the day; lunch is your own account, and your guide will book the table that suits the day rather than the one nearest the car park.

If you are staying for a few days, the same driver can take the airport transfer and the next day's Winelands run — tell us in the booking notes and we keep the same guide with you.
