Private Family Day Tour in Cape Town
One vehicle, one driver-guide and a day built around your children — the penguins at Boulders Beach, Cape Point, the cableway or the beach huts at Muizenberg, with a child seat included. It is the same Private Driver for the Day we run across Cape Town, priced for the whole family rather than per person: half day from R3 450, full day from R6 250 for 1–3 guests.
Good for families
- A 7-seater Fortuner takes up to 3 guests; a 13-seat Quantum takes up to 13.
- The child / baby seat is included, at no extra charge.
- Everyone, including babies, counts towards the vehicle capacity.
- At least one adult must travel with the children — your driver-guide does the driving.

Entrance tickets are paid separately at each place, so you only pay for the stops your family chooses.

What the day costs
Priced per vehicle, not per person, and the same live prices as our Private Driver for the Day:
- Half day (up to 5 hours) from R3 450 for the vehicle.
- Full day (up to 10 hours): R6 250 for 1–3 guests, R7 500 for 4–8, R9 950 for 9–13.
Vehicle, driver-guide, fuel, tolls and parking included; VAT included. Entrance tickets paid separately.
Family day questions
What is included in the private family day?
The vehicle and your registered driver-guide for the half or full day, with fuel, tolls and parking, VAT included. Entrance tickets for the stops you choose are paid separately, so you only pay for what your family actually visits.
Do we need to bring child seats?
No. A child or baby seat is included with the vehicle at no extra charge — just tell us the ages of your children when you get in touch or add the seat on the booking card.
How many people fit in the vehicle?
A 7-seater Toyota Fortuner takes up to 3 guests, and a 13-seat Toyota Quantum takes up to 13. Everyone counts towards the seats, babies included, and at least one adult must travel with the children.
Can we choose our own stops?
Yes. The day is yours: pick a few of the stops above and your driver-guide plans the driving between them. Tickets to Boulders Beach, Cape Point, the cableway, Kirstenbosch and the aquarium are paid separately at each place.
Can we book just a half day?
Yes — a half day (up to 5 hours) starts from R3 450 for the whole vehicle. A full day (up to 10 hours) is R6 250 for 1–3 guests, R7 500 for 4–8 and R9 950 for 9–13, priced per vehicle rather than per person.
