That is what I love about Woodstock; you never quite know what you're going to find. You just keep walking and looking. The art also gives everyone something to talk about. Maybe you like the colours of a piece, while someone else is more into the story behind it. You don't need to know anything about art to enjoy it, sometimes something just catches your eye and that's enough. And yes, there are definitely a few spots where you'll want to take a photo.
From Woodstock to Salt River
The walk takes you from the Old Biscuit Mill through Woodstock and into Salt River. The two neighbourhoods sit right next door to each other, so you get street art from both areas in a single walk.
Moving from Woodstock into Salt River, there's still plenty to catch your eye. You'll have time to stop, take photos and just enjoy the art, no need to rush from one spot to the next, and it's not really about getting the perfect shot anyway. It's more about seeing these streets in a different way. Sometimes you'll stop because a mural catches your eye. Other times someone else in the group spots something you completely missed.
That's what makes it interesting: everyone notices something different. You can also chat with your guide along the way and ask questions about the area. If something's on your mind, just ask.
