Cape Town Airport to City Bowl Transfer

The City Bowl, the central area between Table Mountain and the harbour, is the closest part of Cape Town to the airport — about 20 km, and usually 20 to 30 minutes on the N2. Your driver-guide tracks your flight, meets you in arrivals and takes you to your guesthouse, apartment or hotel door.

The drive

It's a straight run on the N2 with Table Mountain ahead of you. Traffic into town builds between 07:00 and 09:00, so a morning landing can push the drive nearer 35 minutes.

Getting to your door

Much of the City Bowl is one-way streets, steep side roads and small guesthouses without parking. Give us your address when you book and your driver will drop you as close to the entrance as the street allows.

Good to know

Bo-Kaap, Gardens, Tamboerskloof and the East City are all within a few minutes of each other, so the same fixed price covers wherever you're staying in the bowl.
