How much does a private driver in Cape Town cost per day?

A half day with your own vehicle and guide-driver starts from R3 450 for the whole vehicle, not per person. Fuel, tolls and parking are included. Prices include 15% VAT.

Is the driver also my guide?

Yes. One registered guide-driver both drives and guides your group for the whole day.

What's the difference between a private charter and a private tour?

A private charter is your own vehicle and guide-driver on your own itinerary. A private tour is a route we've planned for you, and we can pre-book the attraction tickets. Choose a charter if you want flexibility.

How many people fit in the vehicle?

The Toyota Fortuner takes up to 3 adults and 2 children. The Toyota Quantum takes 4 or more adults, up to 13 guests.

How long is a half day or full day?

Half day · up to 5 hours. Full day · up to 10 hours. Longer days are confirmed in your written quote.

Do I need an exact pickup address to enquire?

Our SUV option accommodates up to three adults and two children.
Tell us your children's ages and luggage so we can confirm it suits your group.
Prefer more room? You can request the larger Quantum instead.

Toyota Quantum

Four or more adults travel in the Quantum.
Up to thirteen guests, plus your guide-driver.
Some family combinations also need the Quantum — for example 3 adults with 3 children. The calculator picks this for you.

Luggage space depends on passenger numbers and seating arrangements. Let us know how many suitcases you'll bring so we can confirm the right vehicle.
